Martha Valdez-Moreno, Ph.D.
Martha joined GCDB in September 2005 for a sabbatical leave from El Colegio de la Frontera Sur, Chetumal Unit (Mexico). She received her PhD from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (Mexico) in 2005, where she studied fish systematics. During her sabbatical work at Guelph she has been involved in DNA barcoding project of marine and freshwater fish from Mexico.
